With our cruise adventure startng in Valletta we found ourselves having only a few hours in which to get a feel for this wonderous historical city. Picking up a walking guide from the cruise terminal we crammed lots into the 4 hours we had ashore. We soaked up the atmosphere in the city centre and walked sections of the citadel walls which yielded spectacular views. We sailed away from Valletta knowing this would be a place we would return to. What was it that captivated us so much?
