Creator's Key Takeaways

Seasickness, it's a real thing on some cruises.

We are on day four of our cruise and we have not left the dock and I think it's about to happen any second.

The staff and crew have been treating us all wonderfully and um you know, just been having a fabulous time so far.

It was extremely fast service.

Creator's Tips & Advice

Order room service early to avoid long waits during sailaway.
Use the sanctuary for a quiet, relaxing alternative to the busy pool deck.
If prone to seasickness, stay in bed and take medication as needed.

About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

After four days docked in Brooklyn, we're heading out to sea toward Bermuda - and boy, did we get a proper send-off from New York! Watch as tugboats help guide the Island Princess past the Statue of Liberty, Manhattan skyline, and Norwegian Escape (who apparently just anchored nearby instead of actually leaving). Our room service breakfast sandwich came without the meat, but the sailaway views were absolutely spectacular. We spent a perfect day at the Sanctuary with Princess, who gifted us access, complete with a tea time service and Jerry's massive lunch order mishap. But then the swells from Hurricane Erin's aftermath hit us hard - Jerry went down with seasickness and had to retreat to the cabin, leaving Jill to film solo for the first time ever! From 15-foot swells to 80s trivia night, this video has it all: stunning sail-away footage, Sanctuary luxury, honest seasickness reality, and Jill's brave solo filming debut. Sometimes cruise life hits you with unexpected challenges, but that's what makes it real! ▬ Contents of this video ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 0:00 Finally Leaving Brooklyn! 2:25 Tugboat Assistance & Sail Away 4:33 Breakfast Sandwich Fail 7:23 Clearing New York Harbour 10:17 Sanctuary Setup & Relaxation 13:38 Jerry's Massive Lunch Order 18:08 Seasickness Strikes Hard 21:44 Jill's Solo Dinner Experience 25:39 Evening Entertainment Alone 30:15 End of Challenging Day Hi, we are Jill and Jerry, and we invite you to subscribe to our channel.
