Date Filmed: June 4, 2021 Hello friends! We have a fun surprise for you! We have a sneak peak of of Royal Caribbean’s brand new ship Odyssey of the Seas! This was an unexpected treat for us! While in Port Canaveral for Carnival Mardi Gras Welcome Home Ceremony (video is linked below), we had the delight to catch a bit of Odyssey coming through the channel before parking at Terminal One! To get a further look at the ship, we then went to the Exploration Tower, which is an educational and observational building for Port Canaveral. From there we could get more of an overhead look where we could see exciting features such as SkyPad, Ripcord by iFly, Rock Climbing Wall, Lime & Coconut Pool Deck, North Star, and the outside of the SeaPlex! We also lucked out and caught the Disney Fantasy sailing out with it’s iconic horn bellowing! From the Exploration Tower, we hit the road and drove as close as we could to the ship on the left side of Terminal One to get an up-close view! We were able to see some more fun details such as the name inscribed on the back, as well as the fun cat & yarn statue! We hope you enjoyed this first look at this one of a kind ship! This will debut on it’s inaugural sailing out of Fort Lauderdale Florida on July 3rd, 2021! We will not be on this inaugural sailing, but we will be on a soon-followed sailing!
