Eight months after a powerful 7.3-magnitude earthquake struck just 19 miles from its cruise port, Vanuatu has officially reopened to cruise tourism. Carnival Adventure became the first ship to return on August 8, 2025, bringing 2,482 guests and 1,100 crew members.
