Travel right now is all about flexibility and going with the flow. I made it to Frankfurt but our flight was just late enough to miss my connection to Bordeaux to board Viking Forseti today. There are no flights until tomorrow afternoon so Lufthansa is paying for my hotel, taxi and meals and Viking is picking me up at the airport tomorrow to board a day late. They luckily were scheduled to be back in Bordeaux tomorrow night so I’m just missing one night and one day. Thank goodness I didn’t check a bag! I’m super exhausted, didn’t sleep at all on the plane. So I think I’ll just sleep until my flight tomorrow. At least I can add another country to this vacation. Germany, done.
