Once you pass through the locks overnight, you’ll get to stop off at Kiel. Here you can soak up all that medieval German history! Continuing your cruise, you’ll stop at Copenhagen. The Capital of Estonia is known for its cobbled streets and I’d suggest going to the old town… it’s architecturally riveting. You’ll be able to see Tallin both in the day and the night. Somehow, it becomes even more beautiful when she is lit up and night! Next up is an overnight in St Petersburg. One of my favourite experiences cruising happened here. You can take a river tour along the Neva River. If you go as the sun is setting it’s jaw dropping. The sun falls and all the building’s light up around you. You’ll also, pass the Hermitage Theatre and Winters Palace! Continuing you cruise you’ll travel through Stockholm’s archipelago to reach the capital. Again, you’ll see this place in the day and night. My favourite place in Stockholm is the old town. The buildings are just stunning. Next, is the Swedish, medieval fortified walls of Visby, Gotland. Then, you’ll pass back through Kiel Canal to your last port of Rotterdam. The first thing you’ll notice is the skyline but, for me it’s an artistic Haven. Similar to Amsterdam but, less touristy. You’ll then, round up your trip back to Dover.
