Galaxy Erding (Europe's Largest Indoor Waterpark)
Description from YouTube
Galaxy Erding is Europe's largest indoor waterpark and just one part of a much bigger water/wellness paradise. Check out this video of the great waterslides and be sure to subscribe for more videos like this! www.facebook.com/MorgansVeryunOfficialTravelGuides Twitter @MrMorganOBrien Galaxy Erding is located outside of Munich Germany, and is easy to get to with public transportation. Once you've paid for admission, you'll get a numbered wrist band and key. The number corresponds to a locker in the gigantic changing rooms area. Get yourself changed and then head out into the gigantic dome full of the biggest waterslides in Europe. I went to the Galaxy in the middle of spring break, and you can see from these shots that it was just ever so slightly crowded. Ya, more like it was a total madhouse. It was completely packed and very chaotic, but once we got used to the pushing and shoving and overall general difference in "personal space", we actually had a great time. The longest we had to wait for a slide was around 30 minutes, and if you compare that to a day at WetNWild or Typhoon Lagoon or other similar waterparks, it's not bad at all. Galaxy Erding is connected to the Therme Erding, which is also the largest mineral baths and wellness spa in Germany. I've been there, as well, and it is absolutely amazing. Be warned, however, because it is a textile free area, which may take some getting used to if you are not from around these parts!
