http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com Hindsight is always 20/20 and though I Googled fingers off looking at Bangkok hotels and knew we would have to tuk-tuk or taxi to most places from this one, I still suggest the Royal Princess Larn Luang Hotel. The hotel is beautiful, and personnel helpful but I suggest staying near the Chao Phraya River or BTS Skyline to make it "easier" getting around. There were no restaurants within walking distance from the Royal Princess and we walked to and from Khao San Road, around 1-1/2 miles in each direction when tuk-tuks refused to take us.
