Escape to Bermuda with us as we explore the gorgeous Grotto Bay Beach Resort, take a refreshing swim in the Blue Hole, and indulge in relaxing massages at an all-inclusive resort. Join us for a day of pure relaxation and adventure in this tropical paradise. Watch now to experience the beauty of Bermuda and learn all about our unforgettable day! My son and I arrived by bus in front of the Grotto Bay Beach Resort for our crystal cave massages where we float over turquoise waters in a cabana! We walked down towards the water after going through the main building, there's a long staircase that goes all the way to the beach area. About halfway down the stairs and to the left is the entrance to the Natura Spa. We waited outside the caves for a few minutes and then we were invited inside to sit in the relaxation area with some waters. This cave is called Prospero's Cave and there are three seperate cabanas with two massage tables in each, so a total of 6 people could be getting massaged at the same time. This cave has 500,000 year old stalactites and stalagmites all throughout. Once in a lifetime experience everyone should do at least once! They were also cheaper than the cruise massage prices and for this memory that's an amazing steal of a deal! After our massages we headed out onto the staircase again and down to the private beach at the resort. What beautiful views and blue waters! Right on the beach they have a bar called the Bayside Grill, one of three restaurants at the resort. They had a great menu and we went with a large chilli dogs with fries for my son and I had two crab cake sliders with red slaw and tartar sauce. We both very much enjoyed our food and recommend to anyone eating there. After we ate we headed to the left down the road and across the street a little ways into Tom Moore's Jungle. Walk lush forest trails, swim in translucent blue waters and explore subterranean caves at this 12-acre reserve that is named for the Irish poet who favoured the area for writing. Along the trails you'll see mangroves, several bird species and natural swimming grottoes like the famous Blue Hole, part of Blue Hole Park, which is located within Walsingham Nature Reserve. We brought head lamps (suggested by a local) to go cave exploring but didn't end up finding any before finding the Blue Hole and just swimming there for awhile because it was just so gorgeous! The Blue Hole is at the end of the trail so it is a good walk in the jungle. There are cliff jumping areas and for the ones scared of heights (my son and myself LOL) you can walk in from the side too. Theres also a dock with a look out area into the water. It's crystal clear blue waters and so cool and refreshing in the middle of May. This was also a once in a lifetime experience and I would highly recommend to anyone in this area of Bermuda or anyone who wants a awesome super private area to swim without ways and scary sea creatures. Lol We left the jungle and caught a bus and then a ferry back to the Dockyard to board the ship for the nights activities. Tonight was white night and everyone looked so good all dressed up in their white attire. We boarded a little later then our dinner time so we just ate at the buffet for dinner that night, which was still good but we missed our waitstaff for sure! We caught the stunning views of the ocean and the sunset in Bermuda, I then headed to a comedy show with Jeff Bodart and had a Pistachio Martini. We called it an early night because we wanted to head to the beach early in the morning the next day. Stay tuned for Day 4 Horseshoe Bay Beach, Pink Sands Beach! Thanks so much for watching!
