http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com Everybody has an opinion. Passengers aboard the Mikhail Lomonosov went into ecstasies over the food when asked. There were abundant amounts, no one ever walked away hungry and in usual cruise style, passengers could order three entrees or whatever amount of food they so desired. Our opinion? The food was good, not "great." Perhaps because a river cruise caters to an "older" clientele which, we certainly belonged to, entrees were under seasoned, bland, and even Margie, one of our traveling companions complained that desserts weren't sweet enough. Just tasting "good" didn't stop us from loading plates with everything but the kitchen sink including what must have been a pound of bacon at breakfast. I'll leave you with one food example. Ordering Eggs Benedict off the menu, the eggs were served on a soft roll instead of a toasted muffin. Heresy...mutiny...Argh....
