We start with an emotional goodbye as Mum heads home after the most special visit. It’s never easy saying goodbye, and I share a few of those quiet moments as we begin settling back into our day-to-day rhythm. After the busyness of Paris, I was craving time at home — pottering, resetting, and grounding myself in the little things that bring me joy. For me, that always means time in the garden. And of course… a trip (or two!) to the garden centre. Our first stop is Castorama, but sadly a few of the things I’d had my eye on were sold out — including a beautiful pot I spotted a few weeks ago! The next day we visit one of my absolute favourites: Nova Garden Centre in the village of Opio. It never disappoints. Nancy joins us as she’s choosing plants for her newly decorated bedroom, and she picks the loveliest green additions and a perfect matching pot. Ryan and I also come away with a few treats (as always) — so naturally, a garden centre haul is included! Back home, we spend the rest of the weekend planting, pottering, and making the most of that calm, comforting rhythm I’ve been missing. This is one of those simple, slow vlogs that I hope you’ll enjoy with a cup of tea.
