On May 11th the Icon of the Seas set sail on a 7 night Western Caribbean and Perfect Day in CocoCay sailing. Sailing round trip from Miami she made stops in Roatán Honduras, Costa Maya Mexico, and Cozumel Mexico as well as the addition of CocoCay in the Bahamas. The morning started out early with the Icon needing to maximize time to turn such a large ship around which meant entering the harbor shortly after 2am. She sailed into the channel past the famous Miami beach and then sailed down the channel past the terminals to the turning basin. Once she reached the end she took a very slow turn around before heading back up the channel to dock at Royal Caribbean's Terminal A. Once docked the MSC Seascape, Carnival Celebration, and Independence of the Seas each made their own arrivals following the same route to the turning basin and docking. The final ship to arrive for the morning was the Carnival Sunrise making an appropriately timed arrival as the sun began to rise over the Miami skyline. This video was filmed on 5/18/2024 while Icon of the Seas was returning home to Terminal A in Miami. 7 Night May 11th, 2024 Western Caribbean and Perfect Day Sailing Itinerary: Day 1: Miami, FL (5/11/24 Departing 5:00 PM) Day 2: Day at Sea (5/12/24) Day 3: Roatán, Honduras (5/13/24 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) Day 4: Costa Maya, Mexico (5/14/24 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) Day 5: Cozumel, Mexico (5/15/24 from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM) Day 6: Day at Sea (5/16/24) Day 7: Perfect Day CocoCay, Bahamas (5/17/24 from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM) Day 8: Miami, FL (5/18/24 Arriving 2:30 AM) Content: 0:00:00 Intro 0:00:16 Sailing between the Terminals and MacArthur Causeway 0:11:30 Entering the Turning Basin 0:18:33 Starting to Turn 0:28:47 Virgin Voyage's Terminal V 0:31:08 Sailing back up the Channel 0:34:00 Terminals G and F 0:36:55 Naval Vessel at Terminal E 0:38:58 Cruise Terminal D 0:32:41 Cruise Terminal C 0:43:04 NCL's Terminal B 0:46:21 Arriving to Royal Caribbean's Terminal A 0:51:27 Along side the Pier 0:51:38 MSC Seascape Entering the Channel 0:53:03 MSC Seascape Passing 0:59:21 Carnival Celebration Entering the Channel 1:00:48 Carnival Celebration Passing 1:06:02 Independence of the Seas Entering the Channel 1:07:45 Independence of the Seas Passing 1:12:43 Carnival Sunrise Entering the Channel 1:14:04 Carnival Sunrise Passing 1:17:38 Next Videos
