***UPDATE FROM DISNEY CRUISE LINE on 9/13/2022*** Here is the information I received directly from Disney Cruise Lines 🌟 The fleet wide electrical system does not work well with 110V hair dryers regardless of the wattage; however, there are no issues with 220V. 🌟 A 1500W / 110V AC hair dryer would exceed the rating of the circuit breaker for the 110V socket outlets. A 1300W / 110V AC hair dryer would be very close to the rating of the circuit breaker but should operate without tripping, provided that nothing else was using power from the same circuit at the same time. 🌟 The reason we prefer the 230V hair dryers is that they use less current, and we do not run into the same issues with circuit breakers tripping. 🌟 The wattage information above could be used to determine the other hair appliances you would like to bring with you for your cruise. So it appears there is NOT an electrical issue with the outlets, however, appliances that may have worked on other Disney ships MAY not work on the Disney Wish. I have not heard one report of anyone being able to use their @dyson Airwrap, so it's best to leave it at home. And see the specifications above to determine which of your appliances are most likely to work on the Disney Wish. *************************************************************************************** In my initial recap video posted on 8/13/2022, I mentioned I had an issue in my stateroom on the Disney Wish that neither of my hair appliances worked.
