Day 9 on our Island Princess cruise to Scotland and Wales and today we are in Invergordon Scotland, We got off the ship to join our coach and our first stop was a farm I think which had some animals like cows and goats. After that we headed to a place called Beauly Priory which is in Beauly. After looking at the Priory we headed to Urquhart Castle were we looked at some ruins before heading to the ferry to cross Loch Ness to catch our coach. The coach took us to our lunch place at the Mercure Hotel in Inverness, the food was very good. After our lunch stop we headed to our last stop of the tour at the Culloden Battlefield. We looked round the building which tell the story of the Battle and we had a quick look outside before heading back to the coach to take us back to the ship. When we go back to the ship, we headed back to our cabin to relax. Then I headed to the promenade deck to watch Sail away. We watched a local Scottish band playing music as we sailed away from Invergordon. After getting ready for dinner, we heading to the main dining room for dinner. The food was delicious, After dinner I headed back to my cabin to relax and head to bed. Next Day is Kirkwall, Orkney Islands or is it?
