This un-cut video of the bobsled ride at Mystic Mountain in Jamaica gives you the rider's point of view as the coaster speeds down the mountain. It takes two minutes for the coaster to travel down the hill, and then three minutes for it to be towed back up to the top. The first 30 seconds of the ride are slow, as the coaster leaves the station on the mountaintop, but the next minute and a half after that are quite intense as the bobsled speeds downhill through the rain forest. You can hear the passenger screaming at several points during the ride. This video was shot using a GoPro Hero 7 Black mounted on to a gimbal, in order to get stabilized video without shakiness. We visited Mystic Mountain and rode this fun alpine coaster as part of a shore excursion out of Ocho Rios during a Caribbean cruise with Carnival Cruise Line. As this was my first time on the bobsled ride, I used the brakes during a few of the curves. I would have liked to have gone on the ride another time or two after that, and tried it without using the brake, but we were running short on time and had to get back to the cruise ship.
