Jost Van Dyke, a small but vibrant island in the British Virgin Islands 🌴, is a must-visit destination for anyone exploring the Caribbean. Located northwest of Tortola, this island is known for its laid-back vibes, stunning beaches, and legendary beach bars. Our adventure started with a bit of sticker shock 😲. From Tortola Pier Park, we hopped into a taxi to the ferry terminal 🚖. The driver told us it was $15, but surprise—it was actually $15 per person 🙄. Ridiculous? Absolutely. Lesson learned! From there, we boarded the ferry ⛴️ ($40 each round trip) and made our way to this charming little island 🏝️. Jost Van Dyke is all about the laid-back vibes ✨, and according to the bartender at Corsairs Beach Bar, the only thing to do here is… drink! 🍻 Challenge accepted. Corsairs was a cozy and fun spot with quirky “butt bar stools” 🍑 and a super-friendly owner who even joined us for a beer 🍺. A great way to kick off our bar-hopping journey! Next, we wandered over to Roxy’s, a livelier spot 🎉 where the bartender’s loud and engaging personality kept the energy high. It was hard not to laugh 😂 and join in the fun with the crowd—it’s the kind of place where everyone feels like an instant friend 🤗. For the grand finale, we took another taxi 🚖 to the iconic Soggy Dollar Bar, located right on one of the most stunning beaches we’ve ever seen 🌊. The crystal-clear water was impossible to resist, so naturally, we cooled off in the warm ocean 🏖️ (because why not?). 😅 The vibes were unbeatable, with delicious food to match 🍖🌽🧀—think juicy ribs, perfectly roasted corn on the cob, creamy mac and cheese, and of course, their world-famous Painkillers 🍹. If you haven’t tried one, this is where you need to start. We wrapped up the day back on Tortola, enjoying dinner 🍽️ with friends and reminiscing about the fun, laughter, and incredible island vibes 🌴✨.
