Departing from the La Romana pier, head to the most popular touristic destination of the country of DR. Upon arrival at our remote ranch, join the security briefing, and then it is time to get comfy in your side by side. These off-road vehicles are a step above the rest and can handle the Dominican off-road with ease and speed. Go roaring through remote farmland, passing palm trees and tobacco plantations with the Oriental Mountain Range deep in the background. These narrow, secluded country roads shelter deep pools of mud that we'll go bursting through again and again. At first, you may try and avoid the dirt, but soon you'll give in to the mud. We all do! Stopover at a typical country plantation at the Ranch for a short intro on some of the Dominican Republic's most recognizable natural produce: cacao, coffee, and tobacco, including a visit to the Ranch´s museum. Enjoy an original presentation of a Taino Show, the first inhabitants of the Island. Descend into a cool, dark cave with a calm subterranean lagoon perfect for swimming. Take a dip and wash off some of that muck before returning back to the pier.
