Traditions, traditions and more traditions! Before sailing out of Port Canaveral, you can bet on exactly what we will do the day we debark. We definitely have a few traditions when we travel but none are as set in stone as getting off a Disney Cruise and heading to Ron Jon’s in cocoa beach. It used to be a 24 hour surf shop but apparently the pandemic put an end to that. No worries, we’re going to get our fix anyway! After a shopping spree we head to Publix to grab some essentials and the we enjoy lunch at one of our favorite finds, a quant Mexican restaurant right there in the same parking lot in cocoa beach called Salsa’s. After filling up, we make the drive to Portofino bay resort where I will be spending the next few nights as we visit the Universal Orlando parks. We finish your night out with a dinner at Mamma Della’s — a nice little Italian restaurant that serves dishes your Italian grandmother would enjoy!
