Our next stop on the Celebrity Beyond cruise brings us to Cozumel, where we embark on an unforgettable excursion packed with history, flavors, and fun! We begin our adventure at the Mayan ruins of San Gervasio, learning about the moon goddess Ixchel and the significance of her temple in Mayan culture. Next, we visit a tequila distillery to sample premium tequilas – though the prices were a bit of a shock! The highlight of the day was at Playa Mia, where we took part in an interactive culinary class, cooking up delicious dishes like plantains, chicken, and veggies with flavorful sauces, followed by a relaxing lunch with an open bar. Back on board the ship, we enjoyed another fantastic dinner at Blu, the exclusive restaurant for AquaClass guests, and ended the night dancing at the ’80s party and joining in on a lively “Name That Tune” competition.
