Mediterranean Cruise - Rome

5 Nights Western Mediterranean Cruise onboard Liberty of the Seas, April 2013. We arrived in Civitavecchia early in the morning - a small port about 30 km from Rome. After breakfast we took a shuttle bus into town - bought ticket for the train and went to Rome. We got off at San Pietro, a 10-minute walk from the Vatican with St. Peter's Basilica, the Apostolic Palace, the Sistine Chapel, They were getting ready for a ceremony and there were long queues everywhere.
