I've just come back from a fantastic cruise on Icon of the Seas and we spent the Perfect Day at Coco Cay! I heard about the new adult only Hideaway Beach and, as I didn't have my kids with me, I couldn't wait to try it. I've always loved this private Royal Caribbean island in the Bahamas, but having an adult-only area was especially nice and so I've made this video which offers a tour of the beach so you can see if it's worth spending the day here. This review looks at the beach, it's lagoon, the food served, the bars, the pools, the vibe etc. as well as looking at a private cabana if you feel like splurging. I personally don't think it's worth splurging - but that's just my opinion. I think the whole island is so lovely that it doesn't matter where you park yourself for the day. But Hideaway Beach is particularly lovely...although you cannot swim in the sea here. The water is too shallow - if you want to swim you have to go into the pool...
