Join us as we embark on @RoyalCaribbean's Icon of the Seas out of the Port of Miami for a 7-night Eastern Caribbean Cruise. This was for Spring Break 2024 and we left on March 23, 2024. On this night, we chose to eat at Hooked Seafood for the 2nd night of our 3-night specialty dining package. Once again, we were unable to secure a reservation for 3 people, so we just made one for 2 people and ordered Rider's dinner to go. Now, when we went to drop off Rider at Adventure Ocean at 8:10pm and our dinner reservation was at 8:15pm. However, when we went, A.O. was temporary closed for Roll Call. This was the 3rd time this happened to us and what we learned was about an hour after each session starts, they conduct a roll call and they temporarily shut down for 15-20 minutes, no kids in, no kids out. This is fine, but my problem with this is that it is NOT communicated to the parents. This is something that could easily be communicated to the parents when you first sign up. We ended up being about 20 minutes late to our dinner reservation. Fortunately, Guest Services had called for us and let them know of the situation. Hooked Seafood was amazing. This was our first time eating at Hooked and I highly recommend it if you like seafood. Just know that if the Aqua show is going on, it is extremely loud. This didn't bother us, but I could see how it could bother some. After that, we went to Casino Royale to rack up some more points to possibly qualify for a "free" cruise. Our new goal is 1500 points and I explain why in the video.
