We went to Rome to board our ship back to the US. We took a shared shuttle directly to the port, hotel to port, about an hour away. Boarding at the port was very different from North America, as we were checked in quickly, but waited almost an hour for our number to be called to go through an immigration stamping station. This was a 14 night sailing on the newest Quantum class ship. The trip was rocky as we missed to two port of call, Pisa and the Azores.
