Pros: If you’re looking for an upscale trendy modern new hotel before your cruise- Omni may be for you. The rooms were big and comfortable and had a trendy vibe. They have a beautiful big shuttle bus to take you on the 1 mile drive to the port at no cost - included FREE. Another bonus is that the location is so close to the port and a $26 Lyft ride (15 min) from airport. Worth noting : the restaurants are pricey and not kid friendly. Bar and grill restaurant was VERY loud and had limited tables. More of a club - sports bar. There is a roof top pool however we did not review the pool at this stay. Rooms were quoted at $328 with resort fee and taxes (which can exceed $70). Food prices are high a bottle of coke cola is $8. Not family friendly. More of a get away for adults. #cruise #cruising #fortlauderdale #portevergladeshotels #fllhotel #florida #porteverglades
