Creator's Key Takeaways
We're back on board Piano Bratannia for a seven night cruise to the stunning Norwegian fjords.
Check-in at Ocean Terminal was busy but steady. Cues were long but always moving and we were on board in about 45 minutes.
The balcony provides a decent view, though not the best if you're hoping for uninterrupted fjorded views from the cabin.
We booked the hop- on hop off bus through get your guide. It was £36.24 per person at the time of booking.

Join us as we begin our 7-night Norwegian Fjords cruise onboard P&O Cruises’ Britannia! In this vlog, we cover Days 1 to 3, including embarkation in Southampton, a relaxing sea day, and our first port – the beautiful city of Stavanger, Norway. We’re sailing with P&O Cruises to explore some of the most breathtaking scenery the Norwegian fjords have to offer, and in this video, we’re sharing everything from food and first impressions to local excursions and tips for getting the most out of your time onboard P&O Britannia. 🚢 Day 1: Embarkation & Birthday Dinner at The Epicurean We stayed overnight at Premier Inn, used CPS Parking, and boarded Britannia in around 45 minutes. We’re in an obstructed balcony cabin (G624), checked out the newly reopened Oasis Spa, and celebrated George’s birthday with a fine dining experience at The Epicurean (£30pp). 🌊 Day 2: Sea Day & Relaxation Onboard P&O We kicked off our sea day with room service breakfast in bed, followed by a laid-back lunch in the Peninsular Restaurant and afternoon drinks at the Market Café. We finished the evening with a casual buffet dinner (no black tie for us!). 🇳🇴 Day 3: Stavanger, Norway – Swords in the Rock & HOHO Bus Tour We explored Stavanger using the Hop-On Hop-Off bus (£36.24pp via Get Your Guide) and visited the iconic Swords in the Rock monument, one of Norway’s most famous landmarks. Back onboard, we had lunch at The Glass House and dinner in the Meridian Restaurant, complete with a Signature Selection dessert. This is just the start of our incredible fjord cruise adventure through Norway, with ports like Olden, Ålesund, and Haugesund still to come! 📍Follow along as Cruise Escapes with George & Dan explore the fjords, one sailaway at a time. 💬 Let us know in the comments if you’ve cruised the Norwegian fjords or if P&O Britannia is on your bucket list! 🇳🇴 FREE FJORDS GUIDE: https://www.cruiseescapes.co.uk/ 🐦 TWITTER: https://twitter.com/georgeanddan 🖼️ INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/georgeanddan CHAPTERS: 0:00 Intro 1:06 Check In & Embarkation 1:37 Balcony Cabin Tour 3:21 Oasis Spa 3:45 Sailaway 4:09 Epicurean dinner 5:17 Day 2 At Sea 7:21 Day 3 Stavanger #georgeanddan #georgeanddanfjords #georgeanddanbritannia
