This is a very typical day for us when we visit Puerto Vallarta. It's one of our favorite destinations. This is a good example of what you can do if you are visiting Puerto Vallarta on a cruise ship. This is a great option for anyone looking for a relaxing day by the pool. Use ResortPass.com to search for options for your cruise. The hotels are always changing. In my opinion the food is not always the best at these all-inclusive resorts. That is why we eat before but the food at the Marriott is pretty good. The alternative option to a Resort Pass is to head to Los Muertos Beach, this is a fun beach and it's free so you won't spend as much money. There are a lot of restaurants and bars that will provide you with chairs and umbrellas if you purchase from drinks and food. It varies so ask them what they require. - 15:43 - We take a taxi from the Marriott Hotel down to the end of the Malecon, this is close to Los Muertos Beach. It's about a $15 taxi ride. The Malecon is fun to walk, purchase souvenir's. There are also a lot of restaurants for drinks and appetizers and some restaurants with great views of the ocean. We usually pick places that have more activity. This is usually a good sign. Also use Google Maps to check out reviews. - 20:35 - it's time for us to head back to the cruise ship. We had a great day, we get freshened up and drop the kids off at Camp Ocean which is our favorite thing to do in the evening.
