There are so many included and specialty restaurants on a Carnival Cruise. How do you know which ones to dine at and if you should pay extra for the specialty ones? Today we are taking you to Pig and Anchor which is the best BBQ on Carnival Cruises and I will tell you everything you need to know to decide if this restaurant is one you should spend your time and money at. This is the second video in our Carnival Cruise Food series. The Carnival Mardi Gras is one of the Carnival's newest ships and has a whopping 22 restaurants. Guys Pig and Anchor Carnival was one of the few restaurants that was open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and we tried all three. I am going to tell you about the atmosphere, location, breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as dress codes, menu and any tips I have. Let's start this tour with the atmosphere, Pig and Anchor is a BBQ smokehouse that has indoor and outdoor seating as well as a stage that has live performances in the evening and hosts different events during the day. There is also a large bar which is nice if you are enjoying the sundeck at the back. We also enjoyed the views out the aft of the ship while in San Juan. While enjoying breakfast we saw airplanes landing at the airport. It does have a rustic vibe with metals, tin trays, and exposed wood. The dining area inside is pretty big which was nice in the Caribbean heat. You can find Guys Pig and Anchor on the Horizon, Panorama and Mardi Gras. We hope that you liked our Carnival food video about Pig and Anchor. Have you ever dined here before? Do you think the specialty restaurants are worth the extra charge?
