Well hello there! Join us as we explore our first port of call, the beautiful, Stavenger. We pre-ordered some room service to arrive into our cabin first thing in the morning, so that we would have some pastries in the cabin and to take with us as we explored the port. The cost room service is now ยฃ2.50 per delivery for breakfast. Download our free Norwegian Fjord Cruise Guide here: https://www.georgeanddan.com/freefjordguide We had organised an excursion through P&O cruises to visit Pulpit Rock for ยฃ85 each, the boat tour departed from the same port as Iona, so itโs just a short walk away from the ship. We explored some beautiful areas of Stavanger, as well as taking the sights of Pulpit Rock and finally ended up having some food and drink at Lysefjordsenteret on the side of the fjord. Once back on the ship, we headed for some lunch in the buffet, we have to admit that the buffet onboard Iona was fairly lacking compared to other ships and cruise lines we have been on previously, however, there was an alright selection for lunch, but not for dinner.
