Queen Mary 2 departs for New York with views of AIDAsol Southampton 08/10/13

On a day mixed with sunshine and rain, "Queen Mary 2" departed from Southampton's Ocean Cruise Terminal about half an hour later as scheduled for her transatlantic crossing to New York at 17:03pm just after she had sailed there was a very big and beautiful rainbow that had appeared. Later in the evening "AIDAsol" departed from Southampton's City Cruise Terminal about 40 minutes later than scheduled due to some late passenger arrivals at 19:38pm bound for Zeebrugge, late passenger arrivals was the same reason for last weeks delayed departure. I never saw her departure due to some bad weather arriving so I packed up and headed for home but I did earlier in the afternoon get some clips of her in the daylight hours for you to see at the end of this video so please enjoy.
