Date Filmed: June 16, 2021 Hello Happy Travelers! We are back to CRUISING!!! We are sailing on Royal Caribbean’s Adventure of the Seas on a 7 night Caribbean sailing that will depart from Nassau Bahamas and visit Perfect Day at CocoCay (Royal Caribbean’s Private Island), Cozumel Mexico, and Freeport Grand Bahama Island! This is the first Royal Caribbean North America sailing since the pandemic closures for COVID-19! In this video, our port of call is Cozumel Mexico! We had grand plans today to visit the famous Mr. Sanchos Beach Excursion, but with thunderstorms looming in the near distance, we decided to take a pass and instead explore right off the pier at the nearby shopping center. At this main shopping center you can find all the staples of every cruise port, such as Señor Frogs, Bubba Gump Shrimp, Margaritaville, Ron Jon Surf Shop, and various small duty-free souvenir shops! Once back onboard, we thought it would be a good use of time to film our ship tour and work on some editing! For the rest of the day, we had dinner at the Main Dining Room and showed our experience, as well as new COVID-19 protocols! We also took a look at function and pricing of the new chat feature found on the Royal Caribbean App. Another important item of discussion today was signing up for our re-entry COVID-19 test, and the confusion we encountered with that. Due to a nearby tropical depression, we hit some rough seas and bad weather, but that didn’t stop our good time today! We hope you enjoy this series as we get back to cruising!
