There are loads of fantastic additions here on Independence of the Seas. One of these are the children's waterpark, Splash Away Bay. Kid's won't want to leave the park, which boasts pools, water slides, water cannons, a jungle-gym and the infamous drench bucket! As well as this, the incredible and innovative Skypad will thrill guests of all ages. This is a complex of four trampolines which can either be enjoyed as they are, or while wearing a virtual-reality headet which will transport you to a unique adventure. Imagine taking part in intergalactic games, or jumping across the moon! While you’re feeling intergalactic you can also, come join in the fun with the lasertag. The laser tag on here is such a blast… but be prepared to get zapped! Other features you can enjoy while onboard, are the Ice rink at sea and full size basketball court. While onboard Independence of the Seas there is always something to do and it is all about keeping busy. You can also, take part with one of Royal Carribean’s most popular features the Flowrider surf simulator… as you sail the waves, you can also surf them too. There’s the vertigo you can get from the Climbing wall or enjoy some popcorn with the outdoor cinema. There’s the unbelievable Japanese dining experience, Izumi, where you can spice up your night with a sushi selection for two or heat things up with hibachi entertainment, thanks to the tableside Teppanyaki grill. Also, another great thing is the British is the Fish and Ships. It’s one of those extra little touches Royal Caribbean have made to make us feel at an extra-ordinary home away from home. There’s great places for a bite with, the Windjammer Restaurant and Main Dining Hall as they’ve been spruced up for the big debut. Don’t forget, Johnny Rockets, Giovanni’s Table and Chops Grille as they are always dishing out the deliciousness.
