Join us on a Royal Palace of Madrid tour as we spend the day visiting the home of the Spanish Royal Family! 🇪🇸 If you're planning a Madrid city break or just looking for the best things to do in the capital of Spain, taking a tour of the official residence is an absolute must. We went inside the Palacio Real de Madrid to explore the largest royal palace in Western Europe and show you exactly what to expect for your own itinerary. 👑 We started our walkthrough at the grand Main Staircase, the stunning entrance to the palace tour! It leads straight into the Halberdiers' Hall and the Columns Hall, two stunning grand rooms. The level of detail in this place is incredible, especially in the historic Charles III's Rooms. He definitely loved a bit of gold! You even get to see his bedroom where he died. Next we explored some of the most stunning spaces in the entire palace. The Gala Dining Room is one of the most beautiful banquet halls we've ever seen. We also walked through the Silver Room and the famous Porcelain and Crystal Rooms where some of the treasures of the Spanish Royal Family can be seen. A major highlight of our tour was visiting the Royal Chapel and the Crown Room where you can get an up-close look at the symbols of the Spanish Monarchy and the crown jewels. It's definitely one of the highlights of the tour. We finished our day in the magnificent Throne Room. Famous for its rich red velvet walls and golden lions, it's easily the most breath-taking room in the Royal Palace of Madrid. Finally we checked out the gift shop to see if we could pick up any royal interior design tips for our own house! A Royal Palace of Madrid Tour is something you just have to do if you're in the Spanish capital.
