I sing Karaoke in Part 2 of my first Virgin Voyages cruise. Visit the Dominican Republic and sample Scarlet Night aboard the Scarlet Lady. Part of Scarlet Night is when the Happening’s cast tours the ship and sets up a short party in several different ares of the ship. They also act out the history of Scarlet Night. I had brunch at The Wake with gorgeous views of the wake behind the ship. Great Eggs Benedict and champagne. I walked to the Kite street, the Umbrella street, the Pink alley and strolled along the Malecon to Fortaleza San Felipe which was built in 1577 to protect agains foreign aggressors and pirates. The fort was also one used as a prison and the Father of the Dominican Republic Duarte was imprisoned there. Everything in this video is within a reasonable walking distance of the ship.
