Surprise Day at Sea! Missing Antsiranana in Madagascar and passenger Mutiny!

Today’s vlog was a bit of a surprise – Antsiranana (Madagascar) was cancelled due to pier issues, leaving me with a day at sea instead. Despite the lack of clarity from NCL about the situation, I made the most of it by heading to the main restaurant for breakfast, enjoying a swim in the lap pool at the spa, and relaxing on the heated beds. However, I did witness some intense frustration among passengers due to poor customer service, which made for an interesting day! Whilst I don’t condone the behaviour and shouting etc, it brought comfort to know the whole ship were having problems with NCL. Despite this, I’ve learned to laugh about it because we’re on holiday, and sometimes things don’t go as planned – just take a deep breath and enjoy the moment! NCL do eventually see the error of their ways and try to make up for it, later in the cruise! I’ll also share how I’ve worked hard to stay healthy on this trip, having lost two stones, focusing on mindful eating, and swimming a lot to keep on track.
