Today we’re sharing our AMAZING day in the Azores during our Celebrity Apex transatlantic cruise to Southampton! This was our third or fourth time visiting the Azores, but honestly… this was the BEST visit we’ve ever had. We explored the port completely on our own with friends, walked the beautiful cobblestone streets, visited local artisan markets, saw historic buildings dating back to the 1500s, and enjoyed one of the best inexpensive meals we’ve had in Europe. The Azores turned out to be one of the easiest and most enjoyable DIY cruise ports we’ve visited.
