Gosh, it's hard to believe that we're at the end of our Carnival Celebration Social Media Takeover! If you haven't watched all of the tips and tricks, don't worry, we've created a Carnival Celebration Playlist with all of our shorts and Celebration-related videos so you can catch up on all of the things about this amazing ship. Our final tip, Tip 14, will help you have a much better experience getting off the ship. Debark morning can be a VERY stressful time for many cruisers. In fact, it's one of the biggest dissatisfier we hear people complain about. Words like "Chaotic" and "Disorganized" are often overheard or used on message boards after the cruise. What if we told you that we can help you avoid all of that chaos? It's simple. Tip 14: Don't rush to get off the ship*! For Carnival, on debark morning you're able to stay in your stateroom until 8:30 (possibly later depending on any delays getting into port). Take your time in the morning and stay in the stateroom until you have to leave**. Then, head up and grab some food. Because you've waited, the lines are less as many folks have already gotten off the ship! Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and then hang out in one of the empty lounges or up on Serenity and just relax. The cruise director will continue to call muster stations, zones, bag tags all morning long. Eventually, the cruise director will call "last call." This is when you start to make your way down to the gangway to exit the ship. Mind you, by following this tip, you've avoided the long queues, crowds, and "chaos" the folks describe about debark morning. Trust us, this is one of our favorite tips and one we use time and time again. * Tip 14.5: Be sure you've booked a late enough flight to allow for this. Not only does a later flight allow you to have a relaxed debark morning, but it accounts for any delay of the ship getting back into port. Another valuable tip that has saved us multiple times! ** Check the debark instructions one-pager and/or HUB App for meal times on debark morning. These can shift and we want to make sure you don't miss your favorite food item at Blue Iguana! You can always bring it back to your room if you discover your favorite spot closes early. We hope you've enjoyed our Carnival Celebration Social Media Takeover - and we invite you to keep coming back for more as we publish more videos about this cruise life of ours!
