YouTube Video Description

https://www.TravelsWithSheila.com October 10, 2022 - The idea of a water passage across the isthmus of Panama from the Atlantic- Pacific Oceans dates back to at least the 1500s, and is a 50 mile stretch engineering marvel. But I certainly didn't stand outside to watch the entire 12 hour transit. Fridtjof Nansen broadcast information about the most interesting parts; Gatun Locks, Lake Gamboa, Miraflores Locks, Bridge of Americas and that was enough for me.
