Date Filmed: January 26-27, 2020 It’s TRAVEL DAY!!! The first day of our new adventure! For this series we will be sailing on Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas on a Southern Caribbean itinerary! This trip will have a lot of new experiences for us: new ship, new ship class, new destinations, and most prevalent to this video, a new departure port! Today we are traveling to one of our favorite places, New York City!!! You heard correctly… these Floridians are traveling all the way to New York to get on a Caribbean cruise ship! Yes, it’s a little crazy, but there’s a method to our madness! :) For today’s video we will take you along on our two day journey of flying from JAX (Jacksonville) to JFK (New York), using the Air Train and subways to get to the city, and then using the PATH, Light Rail, and a Lyft to get to Bayonne, New Jersey, which is the home of our cruise port: Cape Liberty! Phew! I know, it’s a lot of transportation! But we had some fun along the way taking in the sights of the city, enjoying some NYC pizza, and let’s not forget replacing lost camera equipment :oh boy!: We hope you find this travel video fun and helpful! If you have any general questions, please feel free to leave a comment below! We hope you stay tuned for our upcoming videos onboard Anthem of the Seas! If you would like help booking your own travel, please contact us via the travel agent information found at the end of this video!
