Creator's Key Takeaways
this was actually my sister's first cruise ever she'd ever been on and I told her it was bigger than a soccer field
we just love the theming down here here there are limited times through the cruise for kids under two at an additional cost
I just wish they had some windows with a view also on the first day of the cruise there's usually a variety of deals happening
we were blown away by the details and design from the carpet to the periodic table of elements we just thought it was so unique

The Carnival Mardi Gras has the first roller coaster at sea, Family Feud live, brand new restaurants to the Carnival Cruise fleet and more. In our full ship tour weβre going to tell you everything you need to know about the Carnival Mardi Gras to help you plan for your trip. We start our Carnival Mardi Gras tour looking at its history. Then we review each deck starting at the bottom deck, working our way to the top stopping at all the restaurants and entrainment venues. Our Mardi Gras ship tour reviews the 6 distinct zone which have a completely different feel. There is the Grand Central, French Quarter, Summer Landing, La Piazza, Lido and the Ultimate Playground. Decks 4, 5, and 6 are where you find most of the Carnival Mardi Gras restaurants. This includes Palm restaurant the MDR, Fahrenheit 555 steakhouse, and Rudi's Seagrill. On the higher decks is where you will find more quick service restaurants like Big Chicken, Street Eats and the buffet which is called the Lido Marketplace. We were so impressed with Carnival Mardi Gras dining and the quality of food. We had everything from lobster to hamburgers. If you are a thrill seeker then you are definitely going to want to check out Deck 18 for the Ultimate Playground. The Carnival Mardi Gras ship has lots of different activities if you want to stay busy. There is a water park, ropes course, basketball court, and a roller coaster.
