Here it is—our full adventure on Martillo Island, also known as Penguin Island, in the stunning port city of Ushuaia, Argentina! 🇦🇷🐧✨ Located in the famous Beagle Channel 🌊, this island is home to incredible colonies of Magellanic and Gentoo penguins. We watched them waddle along the shore, dive into the ocean, and interact in their natural habitat—it was pure magic! 🥰🌅 Our adventure wasn’t without a few bumps! 😅 We booked the excursion through the Chase portal, but with minimal details provided, we had to ask around and navigate the crowded port to find the right tour operator. Johan was a bit frustrated 🫣, but seeing the penguins up close made it all worth it! 🐧💖 We also spent time exploring the streets of Ushuaia, stopping for mouthwatering empanadas at local food trucks 🌮✨ and enjoying a delicious, budget-friendly choripán topped with chimichurri for just $4.25 🌭🔥. Of course, we couldn’t resist visiting Dublin 🍻, an Irish bar off Main Street, for another stop on our Bars Around the World tour.
