This is a review of the AC Hotel in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area (Dania Point location). AC Hotels originated from the Antonio Catalan's Spanish AC Hotel brand. Marriott partnered with them in 2011 to bring the concept to the US and global markets. We decided to stay in this location since we saw it was convenient to walk to shops and restaurants the one night we were staying in Fort Lauderdale before embarking on a cruise. We found both the hotel and its surrounding environment very impressive and wanted to share what it was like to stay here. It's a great hotel for travelers like ourselves, wanting to stay somewhere before hopping on a cruise or flying out via the FLL airport nearby. Some additional notes: - AC Hotels offers free shuttle services from and to the FLL airport, just call them when you're ready to get picked up or make arrangements when leaving from hotel to airport. - There were signs for paid shuttle service to the cruise port also. It was somewhere over $20 per person.
