Creator's Key Takeaways

I wouldn't get this cabin again not only is it noisy during parades and when they have the prominade Disco

it was very cool until I was trying to take a nap and all of a sudden this boom boom boom base of loud music

this room is actually smaller than a studio cabin I've had

you can see right over into the other cabins and you can hear all the music and you can see all the people

Creator's Tips & Advice

βœ“If you need refrigeration for medicines, speak to the steward.
βœ“Be careful walking between the desk and the bed, as the room is small.

I chose a Promenade Cabin on Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas because I was curious about them and wanted to pass my experience onto you. Well, let's say I "Took one for the team." There is a cool window that overlooks the Promenade Shops on deck 5. There's a nice window seat to watch the action below. However, there's a lot of action down there during the day. From parades to concerts, and discos, there's plenty to see and hear. Hearing is the worst of it. I figured it would be noisy during normal waking hours, but even during the late evening and early morning hours, you can still hear the bass sounds from the normal "Elevator" type music that plays at all hours. Most interesting was how many people keep their blinds open. You can see right into the other cabins across the deck. If the lights are off in the cabin, you can't see anything but shadows. However, when the lights are on, all is on display. Like all Royal Caribbean cabins, it's a nice cabin. However, it is on the smaller side. Even smaller than a studio cabin I had on Quantum of the Seas. But, that's a much bigger ship. I knew this was going to be a gamble, but I'm glad I took it, so I can pass my review along. On the plus side, I was concerned I'd get noise from the connecting cabin next door. Not a peep. Perhaps the constant bass sounds drowned any noise that would come from there out 🀣 @RixTrips https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCg9eVnKxw4yNiLLGF2eZ3Zg?sub_confirmation=1 Website: www.rixtrips.com
