Wonder of the Seas Construction Update August 2021 After Four days, 1,550 nautical miles and 500 workers, the world’s largest cruise ship – Royal Caribbean’s new ship Wonder of the Seas is getting closer to completion. Here we look at Royal Caribbean's fifth ship in the cruise line’s iconic Oasis Class successfully carrying out its first set of sea trials to ensure it’s in ship shape. This looks to be another amazing fun ship built for everyone to enjoy. The Wonder of the Seas will become the largest cruise ship in the world and can accommodate 6,800 passengers and 2,400 crew members. She has a length of 362 meters and a width of 66 meters for a weight of 230,000 tons and a draft of over 9 meters. Wonder of the Sea will be sailing Asia in 2022. You’ve never seen Asia like this.
