If you want to go to the upper botanical gardens, do that first if you are planning to go up Baldwin Street.
Visit the visitor center at the botanical gardens to get free duck food.
Use the shuttles from Port Chalmers to get to the Settlers Museum for $13 round trip.
If you need to use the restroom at the Dunedin Railway Station, they have free restrooms available.
When visiting Baldwin Street, you can take the stairs or go up the street, whichever is easiest for you.
There is a public restroom located right across the street and to the right of Baldwin Street.
If you don't want to walk, they do offer a free shuttle from the cruise port into town.
Take the cable car for a faster and more enjoyable experience than walking.
