This is our first full day of cruising, we start at Kentallen Bay where we had anchored overnight and proceed up Loch Linnhe and into Loch Levan on the way to Glencoe, famed for the Glencoe Massacre of 1692 where 38 members of the MacDonald clan were murdered by the Campbells who had been staying with them. On the way we pass the graveyard island where members of the Campbell, MacDonald and Stewart clans were buried and learn about some of the ancient customs. We look around the Clencoe Folk Museum before venturing further into the Loch to explore where no The Majestic Line boats have been before. Unable to anchor we go back down Loch Linnhe and anchor in the shelter of Shauna Island. We take the tender to the mainline and seek out Castle Stirker. Join us as we go out of our comfort zone on a small cruise ship, The Majestic Line, going around the inlets and islands of the Isle of Mull. In this adventure we take a converted herring trawler and are one of ten guests experiencing a very different type of cruising. See the scenery and wildlife we experience as well as the various towns and locations we go to. There is no set itinerary instead the skipper will be deciding where we visit dependent upon the weather, currents and other factors.
