For official rules visit https://www.georgeanddan.com Join us for Part 2 of our 7 night “Magic of Spain” cruise aboard Marella Voyager! We begin in the Port of Cadiz. This charming city was within walking distance to the ship, which meant it didn’t take long for us to get off the ship and begin exploring. As we were off before the crowds we managed to take our time looking at the architecture of the Town Hall, and Cadiz Cathedral, we even stopped on La Coleta beach for a nice relaxing break. Back onboard the ship and we enjoy a nice lunch in the main dining room, followed by a visit to ‘The Kitchens’ for dessert. Later on in the evening we enjoy a meal at Nonna’s. Here you could pick either a pizza, or a pasta dish, and select your toppings for either. It was very tasty and well worth the visit. Next stop: Malaga. The weather on this cruise was very hot, we were visiting the ports during the Mediterranean heatwave and so we didn’t explore much of Malaga. However, the port it self is within walking distance to the city, as well asap many beaches, bars, and restaurant. We took the heat as a chance to relax and unwind onboard and enjoying the venues available. For dinner we ate at Silver Fork. This speciality dining venue serves British classics - with a twist. We would definitely recommend a visit to Silver Fork if you are cruising onboard Marella Voyager, both the food and the service was exceptional. Cartagena. We were up early so left the ship to explore the city before the heat and humidity were too much for us. This also meant we got managed to explore much of the city before it got busy. We visited Teatro Romano de Cartagena - A Roman Amphitheater and Museum, as-well as explored the local area, ate a street side cafe, and of course, enjoyed some shopping in Sephora. Who doesn’t?! Back onboard and it was time for our pre-booked Musical Afternoon Tea. This was held in Silver Fork and was a unique dining experience. For us this was the first time we were entertained by singer waiters who accompanied our themed food with musical hits. The Musical Afternoon Tea is an additional charge, but makes afternoon tea that little bit more fun. Finally, we relaxed in the spa with a treatment to sail away from Cartagena all relaxed and invigorated. Valencia was our next and final stop on this 7-night cruise. In the morning we took a Navigational Bridge Tour onboard, and wow, what an experience. This was our first time visiting the bridge of any ocean cruise ship, so we enjoyed every second, we even managed to get a picture with the Captain! For lunch we ate at Platter, here you can purchase a range of cheeses, meats, and vegetables. You can have them to share, or just for yourself. Located beside Squid and Anchor, Platter is worth the visit if you enjoy your cheeseboards, like we do. And just like that our cruise is over! We really enjoyed Marella Voyager and all she had to offer. The staff, food, service, and the ship itself did not disappoint. We hope you have enjoyed watching our Marella Cruises vlog series and watch out for our Marella Voyager Ship Tour coming soon! 🛳️ VOYAGER DOCUMENTS: https://www.georgeanddan.com/marella-voyager 📷 OUR EQUIPMENT: https://www.georgeanddan.com/what-we-use 🐦 TWITTER: https://twitter.com/georgeanddan 🖼️ INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/georgeanddan CHAPTERS: 0:00 Intro 1:35 Càdiz 6:17 Nonna's 7:57 Malaga 10:11 Silver Fork 16:40 Cartagena 17:39 Musical Afternoon Tea 21:58Bridge Tour 22:49 Platters #georgeanddan #georgeanddanMarella #georgeanddanMediterranean All music under license from Artlist o3aR9G
