Join us for Episode 3 of our Queen Mary 2 Eastbound Transatlantic Crossing as we continue our winter voyage aboard Cunard’s iconic flagship. Today’s vlog is packed with ship exploration, food reviews, hidden gems, and a very special moment with the Captain — including his reaction to snow at sea! We start the day with a casual breakfast at Kings Court, Queen Mary 2’s self‑service restaurant, before heading through the Grand Lobby to admire the historic Boston Cup and the beautiful model of the QE2. A quick stop at Sir Samuel’s gives us a chance to enjoy some snacks (complimentary!) and make the most of our World of Drinks package. Later, we explore the QM2 Bookshop and the largest library at sea, complete with stunning forward‑facing ocean views. Up on Deck 12, we check out the Pavilion Pool with its retractable roof — perfect for days when the weather isn’t quite on our side. One of our favourite spots onboard, the Observation Deck, gives us incredible panoramic views and a real sense of the ship’s scale. This evening, we’re invited to the Captain’s Cocktail Party, a Cunard World Club perk for Gold members and above. Expect elegant surroundings, canapés, complimentary drinks, and a photo opportunity with the Captain himself. We finish the night with pre‑dinner drinks at the Commodore Club, dinner in the beautiful Britannia Restaurant, and more cocktails to round off the evening.
