About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

The last day of our Danube River cruise, we cross into Germany with two different ports in one day. This morning we arrive at one of the most beautiful Baroque cities in Germany, Passau. Upon arrival, we stroll through the city on a guided walking tour. Passau is known as the Dreiflussetadt or ‘City of Three Rivers’ because the Danube, Inn and Ilz rivers all converge here. The town has many notable Baroque buildings and cobblestone streets, especially in the Old Town area. We were able to see the city’s fortifications and St. Stephan’s Cathedral, home to one of the largest pipe organs in the world (but was under refurbishment when we visited so couldn’t see it). But the church was beautiful and so full of history! We also passed through a local market where we sampled Leberkäse which translates to English as ‘liver cheese’ but doesn’t actually contain liver or cheese and is like a bologna but tastes like smoked ham. Really yummy! Then is started to rain… but I was determined to see the three rivers so I put my rain coat on and carried on! In the afternoon, our last destination is the quaint village of Vilshofen. Surrounded by the Danube and Vils rivers, the town is one of the most picturesque in all of Bavaria. We end the night with a private Oktoberfest celebration hosted by AmaWaterways right outside of our ship. “The Beer Queen is waiting to welcome you and celebrate your visit the Bavarian way with local music, dance & beer!” This was so much fun! Even if you are not a beer drinker, the fun atmosphere, local all female band and lively dancing was a good time for all. And what a way to end this spectacular cruise! #germany #octoberfest #amawaterways Please SUBSCRIBE, Comment, Like, Share & Follow! *Download our 101 Cruise Tips* http://bit.ly/3JfY0Rd *Check out our travel & camera gear on Amazon* https://www.amazon.com/shop/eecctravels This link has all of the camera gear we use to create our videos!!
