There's plenty to do: walk along the Town's Blue Wave beaches, fish off the pier, go paddle boarding, or dive or snorkel. Lauderdale-By-The-Sea is Florida's Beach Diving Capital. Lauderdale-By-The-Sea does not allow tall buildings along its beach and in town; that's why the community has maintained its Old Florida charm, reminiscent of Florida in the 1950s.
