While I personally like the Nassau, Bahamas cruise port area, I know that some people don’t, which

if you're visiting Nassau get out of the cruise port area and head over to Paradise Island and see all there is to offer over on that side of the island

the big attraction of course is Atlantis you can buy day passes for the water park but I personally find those to be a little too expensive for what they're worth

the marina is a great place to explore because the boats are really cool and there are lots of really cute shops and a darling coffee shop here as well

Cabbage Beach is a publicly accessible Beach and although it is on the ocean side and the waves can get a little aggressive it's a beautiful spot to visit
